Bacon Carbonara Pasta

Bacon adds extra flavor and texture to make this pasta dish a sure hit, whether at the dinner table or the buffet table.

80 gramsBacon(sliced)
¼ cupCheddar Cheese(grated)
1 pouch (200 grams)Del Monte
Carbonara Sauce
1 pack (175 grams)Del Monte
Spaghetti Merienda Pack
(cooked, reserve 3 tbsp pasta water)

Cooking Procedure:

  1. Fry bacon until crunchy. Set aside, reserve drippings.

  2. Combine drippings with DEL MONTE Carbonara Sauce and reserved pasta water. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes.

  3. Add cheese and half of bacon, then pour over pasta. Toss to combine. Top with remaining bacon.

    Makes 4 servings
