Inviting your friends to a party is not always...
Try your hand at creating this pork and tofu burger patty, bathed in a sweet tomato-based sauce with sliced mushrooms.
|½ cup||White Bread||(diced to make ½ cup)|
|1 tbsp||Evaporated Milk|
|125 grams||Ground Pork|
|¼ tbsp||Black Pepper|
|2 tbsp||Cooking Oil||(for sauteing)|
|3 tbsp||Canned Mushroom||(for the sauce, sliced)|
|1 liter||Water||(for the sauce)|
|1 ¼ tsp||Brown Sugar||(for the sauce)|
|Patis||(for the sauce, to taste)|
|Black Pepper||(for the sauce, to taste)|
|2 tbsp||Green Peas||(for the sauce, frozen or cooked, optional)|
|1 pouch (200 grams)||Del Monte|
Filipino Style Tomato Sauce

Combine bread and milk, mixing until bread is soggy. Add pork, tokwa, egg, onion, and half of garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
Divide into 10 portions (about 1 1/2 Tbsp each) and form into patties. Pan-grill until brown on both sides. Set aside.
Saute remaining garlic and mushrooms. Add DEL MONTE Filipino Style Tomato Sauce, water, brown sugar, patis, and pepper, to taste. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
Add green peas and patties. Allow to Simmer.
