Chorizo Spaghetti

The ubiquitous party spaghetti gets a new dress-up when topped with slices of Chinese chorizo.

  • Knife
  • Chopping board
  • Measuring Spoon
  • Measuring cup
  • Pan
  • Tong

2 tbspCooking Oil(for sauteing)
1 tbspGarlic(crushed)
2 tbspsOnion(sliced)
1 pc (40 grams) Chorizo de Bilbao(or longganisa macao, sliced into half moon shape)
1/4 cupGreen Bell Pepper(diced)
1/4 cupRed Bell Pepper(diced)
to taste Salt 
Cheese(grated, optional)
1 pack (175 grams)Del Monte
Spaghetti Merienda Pack
1 pouch (250 grams)Del Monte
Sweet Style Spaghetti Sauce

Cooking Procedure:

  1. Saute garlic, onion and chorizo. Add bell peppers and saute for 1 minute. Add DEL MONTE Sweet Style Spaghetti Sauce and salt to taste. Simmer for 3 - 5 minutes.

  2. Pour over cooked DEL MONTE Spaghetti. Top with grated cheese, if desired.

    Makes 4 servings
