Adding pineapple chunks to this classic chicken dish adds new flavor and gives it a more festive appearance.
Cooking Skills Needed:
|2 tbsps||Cooking Oil||(for sauteing)|
|1 kg||Chicken Meat||(cut up)|
|1/8 tsp||Salt|| |
|1/8 tsp||Pepper|| |
|1 cup||Potatoes||(cut into chunks)|
|1/3 cup||Carrot||(cut into chunks)|
|1 cup||Frozen Green Peas||(cooked)|
|1 cup||baguio beans||(sliced)|
|1/2 cup||Red Bell Pepper||(cut into strips)|
|1 ||Del Monte|
|(drained, reserve syrup)|
|1 pouch (200 grams)||Del Monte|
Original Style Tomato Sauce
Saute garlic, onion and chicken. Add pineapple reserved syrup, salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes or until meat is tender.
Add potatoes and carrot. Boil then allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Add green peas, baguio beans, bell pepper, DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits and DEL MONTE Original Style Tomato Sauce. Cook for another 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Makes 10 servings.
