Tortang Hipon at Piña (Party)

Make your torta dish more special with shrimps and sweet pineapple.

375 gramsShrimps(shelled and diced)
8 pcSiling Haba(seeded and diced)
15 pcEgg(beaten)
2 tspIodized Fine Salt 
2 tspBlack Pepper 
1 cupAll-Purpose Flour 
1 ¼ cupsCooking Oil 
2 cans (432 grams each)Del Monte
Pineapple Tidbits

Cooking Procedure:

  1. Broil / grill / boil the eggplants until cooked.  Peel and discard stem then chop flesh.    

  2. In a bowl, combine eggplant flesh, shrimps, sili, DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits , eggs, flour, salt and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Heat oil.  Fry every ¼ cup of mixture until cooked on both sides.  Serve with DEL MONTE Ketchup.


    Makes 30 servings
